The GBCBS is an unprecedented opportunity to showcase your business for sale and to meet serious buyers from BC lower mainland, BC, inter-provincial and international markets all in one venue over the course of one day. The downtown Vancouver location makes it simple and convenient for buyers to attend, view business listings for sale, and interact directly with sellers like you.
Buyers will be encouraged to take part in free Buyer Training Sessions to get informed about what it takes to purchase a business. While on site, they will be greeted by representatives from your community who will inform them about local business resources, incentives, and the lifestyle perks that come with relocation. These representatives include partners and stakeholders from government, real estate, the Commercial Real Estate Council, economic development offices, business lending institutions, and other service providers. Together, we are working to help you achieve the greatest exposure to sell your business and to transition out of it successfully.
Take action now as space is limited! If your business happens to sell prior to September 1st, 2020 the GBCBS will reimburse you the full cost of your Storyboard purchase. Proof of sale will be required.

How to Get Started
List Your Business on Venture Connect.caCreate a user account with GBCBS affiliate Venture Connect and list your business on their website free of charge. Once you are logged in as a user, select "add new listing" and will be asked a series of questions about your business. If you are working through a broker or realtor, they may do this for you.
Ensure Your Business is Vetted or CertifiedAll certified or vetted business listings will be automatically pulled from the Venture Connect website and uploaded to the GBCBS website for buyers and investors to view before the tradeshows. They will also be included in the Show Guide. If you are working with a broker or realtor and they have added your listing to Venture Connect.ca, they will be responsible for certifying your business. If you are not working with a broker or realtor your you will need to contact Venture Connect and request your business be vetted to ensure eligibility for inclusion in the GBCBS website and tradeshow. There is a $250 fee for vetting services.

January 2021: The Virtual GBCBS Tradeshow
In January 2021 the GBCBS goes online as Canada's first virtual tradeshow to buy and sell businesses! Your experience at the Vancouver tradeshow will put you in a good position to apply what you learned to another group of buyers and investors. When you register to become an Exhibitor your business will automatically be listed at the Virtual tradeshow at no additional cost!
